The 59FIFTY is New Era’s classic fitted cap and the one worn on-field in Major League Baseball. It comes in eighth-inch sizes from 6 ⅞ to 8 on the standard chart, with some styles up to 8 ¼. Low Profile 59FIFTY and A-Frame 59FIFTY use the same chart.

New Era 9FIFTY snapback and 9TWENTY size chart

The 9FIFTY snapback and the 9TWENTY dad cap are adjustable. The 9TWENTY is one size only (about 55.8 to 60.6 cm). Most 9FIFTY caps are One Size too, but some styles come in S/M, M/L and L/XL ranges.

New Era youth and kids sizes

Youth 59FIFTY caps run from 6 to 6 ¾ (48.2 to 53.9 cm). Kids and toddler 9FIFTY snapbacks are adjustable and sized by age: Toddler (2 to 4 years), Child (4 to 6) and Youth (6 to 12).

Fit tips

New Era recommends rounding up if you are between sizes, because their wool caps shrink a little.
Low Profile 59FIFTY caps sit shallower on the head. Some wearers go down ⅛ for these.
Measure about half an inch (1 cm) above your eyebrows and ears, which is where the New Era sweatband sits.

How to measure your head

1 Use a soft tape measure, or a string and a ruler.
2 Wrap it around your head where the hat will sit: about 1 cm (⅜ in) above your ears and across the middle of your forehead.
3 Keep the tape level and snug, not tight. Do not pull it in.
4 Read the number where the tape overlaps. Measure two or three times and use the largest value.
5 Type the number into the calculator, or find it in the chart.
