About these terms
These terms apply to hatsizecharts.com and all of its language versions (“the site”), run by HatSizeCharts (“we”, “us”). They sit alongside our privacy policy, which explains how data and cookies are handled.
Using the site
The size charts, calculators and articles are free for personal, non-commercial use. You may print charts, save pages and share links. You may not copy large parts of the site to republish elsewhere, scrape it in a way that harms its performance, attempt to interfere with its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
Accuracy of size information
We work hard to keep every chart accurate and up to date, and we check brand figures against the brands’ own published guides. Even so, sizes are a guide rather than a guarantee: brands change their charts, fit varies between styles and materials, and head shape affects fit as well as circumference.
Always check the retailer’s or brand’s current size information before you buy, and check the returns policy. We are not responsible for a purchase that does not fit.
Not medical advice
The head circumference charts and percentile calculator are based on WHO and CDC reference data and are provided for general information only. They are not a diagnosis and are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, midwife or health visitor. If you are worried about a child’s head size or growth, please speak to a health professional.
Intellectual property
The text, tables, calculators, illustrations and design of the site are owned by HatSizeCharts or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. Facts such as a brand’s size ranges are not owned by us, but our presentation of them is.
Trademarks and brands
Brand and product names mentioned on the site, including New Era, 59FIFTY, Stetson, Nike, Flexfit, Richardson, Kangol, Carhartt, Melin, ’47, Stüssy and The Game, are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to describe those products and their sizing. HatSizeCharts is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of these companies.
Advertising and third-party links
The site may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense, and may link to brand websites and other resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, services or privacy practices of advertisers or linked sites. A link or an ad is not an endorsement.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove pages and features at any time.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
